The University operates as an entrepreneurial higher learning institution as it continues to establish multiple funding avenues to compliment tuition fees and finance its primary mandate of creating knowledge through research, disseminating the results and applying the knowledge gained from that research. Notable entrepreneurial achievements include the establishment partnership agreements with reputable international companies and universities.

Dr Getrude Mwangala Akapelwa

The Victoria Falls University of Technology is one of the pioneer private universities in Zambia and the first one with a special focus on sciences and technology. It is the only university headquartered within 300 kilometres radius of the city of Livingstone. It opened its doors to its first 12 students in January 2010. Its physical address is Plot number 2621 Nakatindi Road, on property leased from the Government of the Republic of Zambia.
